 Your Eternal Inheritance

1. God the Father has chosen an inheritance for every single child of His, to go and fight a good fight, possess it and reign over it. (Psalm 47:3,4; 2 Tim. 4:7,8; Rev. 5:10)

2. The Most High God is not going to give it to you in future. He has already given it to you. Everywhere that your feet tread, belongs to you. Treading implies crushing the head of the Devil under your feet through prayer walking. (Joshua 1:3; Rom. 16:20; 1 Tim. 2:8)

3. If you have not taken possession of your inheritance then you cannot be a co-inheritor with Christ. Your neighborhood, workplace, city may be your inheritance and the Bible is your title deed. (Psalm 2:7,8; Rom. 8:17)

4. You must ask for specific nations (People Groups) and the land as your inheritance. God gave the land of Canaan from the Euphrates to Nile and ten tribes to Abraham. Peter was an apostle to Jews, Paul to Gentiles and Lydia to Philippi. (Ps. 2:8; Gen. 15:18-21; Gal. 2:7)

5. Yeshua said, “Fear not little flock for it has pleased the Father to give you a kingdom.” The kingdom does not come by observation but by violence (spiritual warfare). The whole world is pressing into it. House church movement is helping new believers to take possession of their inheritance as never before. (Luke 12:32; Matt. 12:11)

6. Going to church meetings does not translate into inheritance. The Word of God is not just for the sake of knowledge but “to build you up and give you an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fades not away, reserved in heaven for you.” (1Peter 1:4; Acts 20:32)

7. Adam was given the Garden of Eden as his inheritance. He lost it because of disobedience, just for one fruit. Spiritual Blindness can afflict anyone including Christians. (Rom. 11:25; 2Cor. 4:4)

8. The Father has given gifts/talents to every child of His (age/gender no bar) to do business and multiply their resources and become rulers over many cities. (Luke 19:13-27)

9. Even women must possess their own inheritance. Rebekah was blessed by her family to have ‘thousands of millions of children who will possess the gate of the enemy.’ Similarly we must produce many spiritual children who will destroy the gates of hell. (Gen. 24:60; Matt. 16:18)

10. Yeshua asked us to gather our treasure in heaven but many continue to labor till the last breath for earthly treasure which thieves steal and moths corrupt. (Luke 12:29-34)

11. God gave only Canaan to Israel but to us He has given the whole earth to inherit. The whole creation is waiting for the sons of God for its redemption. (Matt. 5:5; Rom. 8:19-21)

12. Yeshua asked Paul to open the eyes of those in darkness, bring them from Satan’s kingdom into God’s kingdom and connect them to their inheritance. (Acts 26:18)

13. Paul challenged the Corinthian church that they had many baby-sitters/schoolteachers, but he “fathered” them for a productive spiritual life. As a concerned father, Paul had their best interests at heart.

14. Christian believers need to see spiritual fathering modeled so they can learn to pass on the legacy (inheritance) to the next generation of believers, who then themselves become spiritual parents and inheritors of the kingdom.
