प्रार्थना विषय: परमेश्वर तथा लोगों से घनिष्टता

यहोवा ने यहोशू से कहा, सुन मैंने यरीहो को उसके राजा और शूरवीरो समेत तेरे हाथ में कर दिया है। मेरे सारे शूरवीर नगर को घेर कर परिक्रमा करें। (यहोशू 6ः 2-5)

महीने का प्रथम रविवार

प्रार्थना विषय: विश्वासियों का घर एक प्रशिक्षण केन्द्र

जो आसू बहाते हुए बोते हैं वे जय-जयकार करते हुए काटेंगे। जो बीज बोने के लिये रोता हुआ चला जाता है वह निश्चय ही अपनी पूलियां लिये हुए जय-जयकार के साथ लौट आएगा। (भजनसंहिता 126ः 5-6)

बाइबल में कहीं भी रविवार की आराधना का उल्लेख नहीं है। केवल एक समय जब पौलुस त्रोआस आया था, तब शिष्य सप्ताह के पहिले दिन भोजन के लिए एकत्र हुए थे। सप्ताह का पहिला दिन यहूदियों के लिये शनिवार संध्या से आरम्भ होता था। इसलिए यह शनीवार की रात्रि की सभा थी। (प्रेरितों के काम 20ः 7-13)

पौलुस को रविवार के दिन अस्सुस के लिये बहुत सबेरे यात्रा में निकल गया  जबकि स्थानीय लोग काम पर चले गये। रविवार एक अवकाश का नहीं वरन काम का दिन होता था। यथार्थ में शनिवार की रात्रि को प्रार्थना आराधना के लिये उपयोग में लाना अच्छा सुझाव है क्योंकि यह परिवारों को बोतल, बाॅलीवुड और मूर्खबक्सा ;(T.V.) की पूजा करने से बचाएगा, साथ ही प्रति रविवार को विश्वासी कलीसिया रोपण के लिये बाहर जा सकेंगे।

पौलुस रविवार के दिन विशेष भाषण नहीं देता था परन्तु प्रतिदिन विश्वासियों के घर जाकर उनके लाभ की बातें वार्तालाप के द्वारा सिखाता था (प्रेरितों के काम 18ः 4-19)। समय सीमा का कोई प्रश्न नहीं था। 

मसीही घरों में विशाल आत्मिक, सांसारिक और मानव साधन उपलब्ध हैं, जो महान आदेश के प्रशिक्षण केन्द्र के लिये काम में लाए जा सकते हैं। इस महान कार्य के लिये हमें यहाँ वहाँ ताकने की जरूरत नहीं है।

परमेश्वर ने दीन विश्वासी की गृहस्थी का उपयोग सब जातियों को शिष्य बनाने हेतु निर्धारित किया हैं। उसने साधारण लोगों को राजकीय पदधारी याजक बनाया है ताकि सम्पूर्ण शहर के मसीही घरों में ही आत्मिक फसल काटने के विशाल कार्य को पूरा हो सके।

।। प्रार्थना ।।

1. ओ पिता हम निश्चय जानते हैं कि न मृत्यु न जीवन, न स्वर्गदूत, न प्रधानताएं, न वर्तमान, न भविष्य, न सामर्थ, न ऊँचाई, न गहराई और न कोई सृष्टि की हुई वस्तु हमें परमेश्वर के प्रेम से जो हमारे प्रभु मसीह यीशु में है, अलग कर सकेगी। प्रभुजी हमारे घर को इस शिक्षा का प्रशिक्षण केन्द्र बनाइये। (रोमियों 8ः 38-39)

2. ओ पिता आपने हमें भोजन, पानी, बिजली, संचार, स्वास्थ, शिक्षा और हर एक आत्मिक आशीषें हमारे घर में उपलब्ध किया है कि ये हमारे पड़ोसियों के लिए आशीष का कारण बनें। (इफिसियों 1ः 3; व्यवस्थाविवरण 8ः 18)

3. प्रभु जी अपनी प्रतिज्ञां के अनुसार अपनी आत्मा उन पर उन्डेलिये ताकि वे मनुष्य के हाथों की कारीगरी को न पूजें परन्तु स्वप्न और दर्शन में अपने सृष्टिकत्र्ता और उद्धारकत्र्ता को देखें। हम प्रार्थना करते हैं कि वे संदेश वाहकों को अपने घरों में बुलाएं। (योएल 2ः 28-29; मलाकी 1ः 11)

4. प्रभु हम प्रार्थना करते हैं कि शिष्य दूसरे विश्वासियों के घरों में एकत्रित होंगे, उन्हें उत्साहित करेंगे तथा उनसे वार्तालाप करके परमेश्वर की सम्पूर्ण परामर्श को बताएंगे जब तक कि सभी परिवार यह न जान ले कि वे याजकों का समाज तथा एक चुना हुआ वंश हैं जो परमेश्वर की स्तुति, प्रशंसा के लिए अद्भुत ज्योति में बुलाये गये हैं। (1 पतरस 2ः 9)

5. प्रभु हम प्रार्थना करते हैं कि आपका नाम अन्य जातियों के बीच हर जगह पर महान रहे। उदियाचल से लेकर अस्ताचल तक के हमारे शहर के हर एक घर में उनके ही संस्कृति और परमपरा में आपके नाम पर अगरबत्ती जलाईं जाएं और शुद्ध भेंटें चढ़ाई जाएं। (मलाकी 1ः 11)

6. ओ पिता हम आपको धन्यवाद देते हैं कि बंजर जमीन को तैयार करने, बीज बोने और आसुओं से उसे सींचने के लिये आपने हमें चुना और भेजा है। अवश्य है कि हम शीघ्र आनन्द करते हुए पूलियों के साथ वापस लौटेंगे। (भजनसंहिमा 126ः 5-6)

First Sunday of the Month

Subject: Cry for My Beloved City.

“Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. He who continuously goes weeping, bearing seeds for sowing shall doubtless return rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.” (Psalm 126: 5, 6)

Sunday worship is not mentioned anywhere in the Bible. The only time the disciples got together on the first day of the week was to break bread when Paul visited them at Troas. The Jewish first day of the week started on Saturday evening. The first day of the week meeting actually took place on Saturday night with people bringing bread for supper. Paul left early in the morning for Assos while others went to work. The first day of the week was a working day and not a day of rest. Actually Saturday night worship is an excellent idea because it will save the families from worshiping ‘the Bottle’, the Bollywood and the Idiot Box. It will also leave Sunday free for church planting.

Paul proclaimed the gospel publicly and from house to house. There were no well-prepared sermons on Sundays. Paul’s method of communicating the whole counsel of God was through reason, persuasion and dialogue (Acts 18: 4, 19). There was no time limit. The bishops and elders were overseers of the house churches. Overseeing in Greek means overshadowing, just like the Holy Spirit overshadowed Mary (Luke 1: 35). They knew that God owned the sheep because they were His purchased possession. With such loving Mentoring, the church naturally grew explosively. (Acts 20: 7-13, 20, 27-30)

Peter, Paul and Jesus Himself used the resources available in the houses of the believers to expand the kingdom. Sadly, the Christian houses are no longer the focus of spiritual activities and no wonder we now have a disastrous family situation. We need to urgently deploy the enormous human and material resources of the families so that it becomes a Great Commission training center. 

God in His economy has chosen the believers’ humble households to disciple all nations. He has appointed ordinary people as Royal Priests to accomplish the enormous task of reaping the entire harvest from the city in Christian homes.

:: PRAYER ::

1. O Father, we know for sure that neither death nor life nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus. Lord help us to use our house as a Great Commission training center to spread this message. (Romans 8: 38, 39)

2. O Father, thank You for providing us with food, water, electricity, communication, education and every spiritual blessing in our home. Now we pray that these facilities be used for the fulfillment of Your covenant with our forefather Abraham, to be a blessing to all the families in our neighborhood. (Ephesians 1: 3; Deuteronomy 8: 18)

3. Lord, we pray for our neighbors that according to Your promise, pour Your Spirit on them, so that they do not worship the works of man’s hands but may prophecy and dream dreams and see visions of their Creator and Savior. We pray that they may worship You in spirit and in truth, in their homes. (Joel 2: 28, 29, John 4: 23, 24) 

4. Lord, we pray that disciples will visit other believers in their homes and reason, persuade and dialogue with them and share the whole counsel of God until every family knows that they are a nation of priests, a chosen generation to proclaim the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light. (1 Peter 2: 9)

5. Lord, we pray that Your Name should be great among the Gentiles in all places, from the rising of the sun to its going down. In every home in our city, in their culture and traditions, incense and pure offerings should be offered in Your name. (Malachi 1: 11)

6. O Father, we thank You for sending us to break the fallow ground, prepare it, sow the seed and then water it with tears. Only then we will return with sheaves with shouts of joy. (Psalm 126: 5, 6)
