प्रार्थना विषय: मसीही संस्थाओं के लिये 
Subject: Local Church and Institutions. 

यह मुझ से दूर हो कि मैं तुम्हारे लिये प्रार्थना करना छोड़कर यहोवा के विरूद्ध पापी ठहरूं, मैं तो तुम्हें अच्छा और सीधा मार्ग दिखाता रहूंगा। (1 शमूएल 12ः 23)

इस्राएलियों ने आग्रह किया और शाऊल को अपने राजा के रूप में पाया जिसने उनका शोषण किया। उसने उनके बच्चों को मज़दूर, बेटों को सैनिक और बेटियों को रखेलों के समान दुरूपयोग किया। जब उसने एन्दोर की एक भूतसिद्धि करने वाली टोन्ही से सम्पर्क किया तो राजा का अधिकार खो बैठा और शीघ्र ही शाऊल और उसके पुत्रों का दुःखदायी अन्त हो गया। (1 शमूएल 12ः 17; 28ः 7)

इन सब के बाद भी शमूएल ने पापी इस्त्राएलियों को भरोसा दिया कि परमेश्वर उन्हें नहीं छोडेगा क्योंकि, उसने उन्हें अपने लोग होने के लिये चुना है। शमूएल ने यह भी कहा कि उनके राजा और लोगों के लिये प्रार्थना न करना उसके लिए पाप होगा।

डाॅक्टर पाॅल ब्रैन्ड ने विकृत हाथों और पांवों का शल्यचिकित्सा द्वारा हजारों कोढ़ के मरीज़ों का जीवन परिवर्तन किया। एक शाम जब वे अपने घर लौटे तो बहुत से विकृत परन्तु कृतज्ञ मरीजों को अपने घर के सामने इन्तज़ार करते पाया। उसने उन्हें अपनी खाने की मेज पर निमंत्रण दिया, और उसकी पत्नी मारग्रेट ने उन्हें नाश्ता दिया और चाय पिलाया। उन्होंने न केवल शारीरिक चंगाई पाई परन्तु प्रत्यक्ष मसीही प्रेम भी पाया और धीरे-धीरे बहुत से मसीह के अनुयायी बन गये।

हमारे मिशन स्कूल, अस्पताल, अनाथालय जो कभी गरीब हेतु आशीष के कारण थे, जिसके कारण बहुत से लोग प्रभु के पास आए, परन्तु अब उनका आत्मिक प्रभाव सिकुड़ गया है क्योंकि उन्होंने दर्शन को खो दिया हेै।

हमारे बहुत से अधिकारी और कार्यकर्ता शाऊल के समान भटक गए हैं और संस्था का रक्षण के बदले भक्षण कर रहे हैं। हम प्रार्थना करें कि हमारे मसीही स्कूल, अस्पताल, अनाथालय और विकास कार्यक्रम केवल शिक्षा, चंगाई या परोपकारी केन्द्र न बने, परन्तु देह, प्राण और आत्मा के सम्पूर्ण परिवर्तन के केन्द्र बनने पांए।(कुलुस्सियों 1ः 10)

।। प्रार्थना ।।

1. ओ पिता, तेरा वचन आग के समान और ऐसे हथौड़े के समान है जो चट्टान को चकनाचूर कर डालता है। प्रभु, इस शक्तिशाली शस्त्र द्वारा हम अंधकार की ताकतों को तोड़ सकते हैं (यिर्मयाह 23ः 29)। प्रभु हर एक व्यक्ति जाने कि मनुष्य केवल रोटी से ही नहीं परन्तु हर एक वचन से जो परमेश्वर के मंुह से निकलता है जीवित रहता है। (नीतिवचन 1ः 7; मत्ती 4ः 4)

2. प्रभु हम प्रार्थना करते हैं कि आपकी देह प्रेम, आनन्द, मेल, धीरज, कृपा, भलाई, विश्वास, नम्रता, संयम के आत्मिक फलों से लदी रहे। (गलातियों 5ः 22-23)

3. प्रभुजी, विश्वासी यह जाने कि वे याजक हैं इसलिए वे अपने कार्यालयों में कलीसिया रोपण करें। आपकी प्रतिज्ञा के अनुसार, जहाँ भी आपके नाम पर दो या तीन एकत्र हों, आप वहाँ उपस्थित रहेंगे। पिता उनके कार्यालय, लोगों के उद्धार पाने हेतु परिवर्तन केन्द्र बन जांए। (3 यूहन्ना 1ः 2-4)

4. पिता आत्मा के वरदान और प्रकाशन सभी विश्वासियों को उनके लाभ हेतु दीजिये जिससे वे बुद्धिमानी के वचन, विश्वास, चंगाई का वरदान, आश्चर्यकर्मो, भविष्यवाणी करना, आत्माओं की परख करना, अन्य-अन्य भाषा बोलना और उसका अनुवाद आदि कर सकें। (1 कुरिन्थियों 12ः 7-12)

5. प्रभुजी हमारे संस्थाओं के अधिकारी और कार्यकर्ताओं के लिए प्रार्थना करते हैं कि रक्षक लोग भक्षक न बने अपने स्वार्थ के लिए संस्था का शोषण न करें परन्तु उसे देह, प्राण और आत्मा के पूर्ण परिर्वतन का केन्द्र बनाएं।

6. पिता, हम आपका धन्यवाद करते हैं कि आपने हमें स्कूल, अस्पताल और दूसरी संस्थाए दिया है। आपने हमें सड़क के किनारे बीज बिखराने नहीं परन्तु अच्छे बीज को तैयार भूमि में बोने के लिये नियुक्त किया है। प्रभु हमारे अगुओं के दर्शन को सही कर ताकि वे तीस गुना, साठ गुना और सौ गुना फसल अपनी संस्थाओं से एकत्र करें। (मत्ती 13ः 3-9; 12ः 30)

Fourth Thursday of the Month

Subject: Local Church and Institutions.

“Moreover, as for me, far be it for me that I should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you; but I will teach you the good and the right way.” (1 Samuel 12: 23; Ephesians 1: 15-19; Mark 10: 42-45) 

The Israelites asked Samuel for their own king just like the other nations had, in spite of the fact that they had been under God’s direct supervision. They rejected God’s Lordship because of their wickedness. Samuel was also deeply hurt because they rejected his prophetic leadership. (1 Samuel 12: 17; 28:7)

When they insisted, they got Saul as their king who exploited them. He took their crops, animals, and children as laborers, sons as soldiers and daughters as concubines. He lost his kingship when he indulged in the occult by consulting the witch of Endore. Soon Saul and his sons came to a tragic end. 

After all this Samuel assured the Israelites that the Lord will not forsake them because He had chosen them as His people. He not only did that but he said to them that it would be sin for him not to pray for the king and the people. He further promised them he would continue to teach them the good and right way.

Dr. Paul Brand transformed the lives of thousands of Leprosy patients by developing surgical operations to correct their deformed hands and feet. One evening we returned after a field trip and found several disfigured patients waiting in front of his house. He invited them in to his dining table and his wife Margaret served them tea and biscuits. They received not only physical healing but also social acceptance and many became followers of Christ.

We must pray that our institutional heads do not go astray like Saul and exploit the institutions for their own benefit. That they may undertake regular financial and ‘spiritual audit’. Let us pray that our Christian schools, hospitals, orphanages and development programs, will not be just teaching, curing or philanthropic centers but will be centers of holistic transformation for body, mind and the spirit. (Colossians 1: 10)

::Prayer::

1. O Father Your word is like fire that consumes and like a hammer that breaks the rock into pieces. Lord thank You for this powerful weapon with which we can break the chains of darkness (Jeremiah 23: 29). Lord, let every person know that man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. (Proverb 1: 7; Matthew 4: 4) 

2. Lord we pray that Your Body be full of the fruits of the Spirit, that is love, joy, peace, long suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control. (Galatians 5: 22, 23)

3. Lord, grant that believers may know that they are priests. That they may pray, study the word and witness to their workmates and plant ‘Office Churches’ right in place of their work. According to Your promise, wherever two or three gather in Your name, You will be present there. Father we pray that their worksites may become centers of holistic transformation and people will be saved right there. (3 John 1: 2-4)

4. Father, grant that gifts and manifestations of the Spirit be given to all believers to profit them in all they do like word of wisdom, word of knowledge, faith, gifts of healing, working of miracles, prophesy, discerning of spirits, tongues and their interpretation. (1 Corinthians 12: 7-12) 

 5. Lord, grant that in spite of rejection, persecution and all the other problems we may continue to pray and support our leaders. Lord protect us from the sin of not praying and supporting them.

6. Father, we thank You for giving us schools, hospitals and other institutions. You have appointed us not to scatter the seed by the roadside, but to sow good seed in well-prepared soil. Lord enlarge our vision so that we may gather thirty fold, sixty fold and even hundred fold harvest from our institutions. (Matthew 12: 30)
