महीने का तीसरा रविवार

प्रार्थना विषय: कलीसिया द्वारा प्रशासन

यदि कोई इस नीव पर सोना, चान्दी, बहुमुल्य पत्थर, काठ, घास या फूस से बनाए तो उसका काम आग से परखा जाएगा। जिसका काम बना रहेगा वह मज़दूरी पाएगा और जिसका जल जाएगा वह हानि उठाएगा...। (1 कुरिन्थियों 3ः 12-15)

क्रूस पर वध किये मेम्ने के लोहू के द्वारा हमें पापों से छुटकारा दिलाकर प्रभु ने हमें राजा और याजक बनाया है (प्रकाशितवाक्य 5ः 10)।  हम सेवक राजा हैं और वह हमारा महाराजा है और उसके कन्धों पर शासन है (यशायाह 9ः 7)

वह कलीसिया का सिर है और हम उसकी देह, बाहें, पैर और कन्धे हैं। सरकार सच में हमारे ऊपर है क्योंकि हम उसके कंधे हैं इसलिए उसके शासन को पृथ्वी पर स्थापित करना हमारी जिम्मेदारी है। इसलिए यदि हमारा शहर या देश बुरे हाल में है, पानी, भोजन, बिजली और दूसरे आवश्यक वस्तुओं की कमी, भृष्टाचार, खराब सड़कें और गन्दी झुग्गी-झोपड़ी हैं तो यह हमारी गलती है क्योंकि हम सरकार हैं। हम ही सड़कों को मरम्मत करने वाले और उजड़े स्थानों को ठीक करने वाले हैं। (यशायाह 58ः 1-12)

प्रतिदिन हम प्रार्थना करते हैं कि तेरा राज्य आए और तेरी इच्छा पृथ्वी पर भी पूरी हो। परन्तु हम उसके लिये कुछ नहीं करते। राज्य का अर्थ है सरकार। जब हम परमेश्वर के राज्य हेतु प्रार्थना करते हैं तब हम यथार्थ में परमेश्वर के सरकार हेतु प्रार्थना करते हैं। ‘‘यीशु ने कहा’’ स्वर्ग और पृथ्वी का सारा अधिकार मुझे दिया गया है परन्तु यहाँ पृथ्वी पर उसका अधिकार नहीं दिखता। हमारी अज्ञानता और शिथिलता के फल स्वरूप, शैतान ने अधिकार और शासन को हड़प लिया है। हमें अधिकार वापस लेना है और परमेश्वर के राज्य को स्थापित करना है ताकि उसकी इच्छा हमारे शहर और देश में पूरी होवे।

हमें भी अपने इलाके की जिम्मेदारी दी गयी है ताकि रोटी, पानी, मकान, यातायात इत्यादि आवश्यक सुविधाएं, प्रार्थना यात्रा, मध्यस्थता एवं यशायाह 58ः 1-12 और मत्ती 25ः 31-46 में दिये गए सारे परोपकारी सेवकाईयों द्वारा गरीबों को उपलब्ध कराएं। सेवक राजा होने के कारण हमें हमारे महाराजा यीशु के लिये राष्ट्र पर उपवास, मध्यस्थता तथा करूणा के कामों द्वारा शासन करना है। (रोमियों 5ः 17)

।। प्रार्थना ।।

1. पिता परमेश्वर, वचन जो आपके मुॅह से निकलता है वह व्यर्थ वापस नहीं लौटता, परन्तु जिस उद्देश्य से भेजा गया है उसे पूरा करता है। पहाड़ गला खोलकर जय-जयकार करो और सभी नदियां और पेड़ अपने हाथों से ताली बजाकर अपने सृष्टीकर्ता की महिमा करो। (यशायाह 55ः 11-12)

2. प्रभु आपने हमें इसलिए चुना है कि हम प्रेम, शान्ति, न्याय, सुरक्षा का राज्य स्थापित करें। हम अपने शहर और राष्ट्र के सभी अधिकारियों को उठाते हैं कि वे अपने सृष्टिकत्र्ता का भय माने। हमारा प्रकाश ऐसा चमके कि लोग हमारे अच्छे कामों को देख कर हमारे स्वर्गीय पिता की महिमा करें। (मत्ती 5ः 16)

3. प्रभु हम प्रार्थना करते हैं कि जब आपके सेवक राजा, नाश होने वालों से मिलने जाते हैं तो उन्हें खुले द्वार, खुले हृदय और खुले स्त्रोत प्राप्त हों, जिससे वे साहस के साथ आपके शासन के शुभ समाचार को प्रभावशाली तरीके से बताने पाएं। (कुलुस्सियों 4ः 2-3)

4. ओ! पिता आपके द्वारा दिये गये अधिकार, सामर्थ और स्त्रोतों का हम सही उपयोग करें। अंधकार के राज्य को समाप्त करके धार्मिकता, न्याय, शान्ति और प्रेम के साथ लोगों की सेवा करें और राष्ट्र का रूपान्तरण कर दें (प्रकाशितवाक्य 5ः 10; आमोस 5ः 11-15)

5. प्रभु, आप अपने शहर यरूशलेम के लिये रोये। हम पश्चात्ताप करते हैं कि आपके स्पष्ट आदेश के बावजूद भी हमने अपने शहर हेतु प्रार्थना और उसके सुख समृद्धि हेतु आवश्यक कार्य नहीं किया हैं। प्रभु अपने सेवकों को बोझ दे कि वे अपने शहर का शासन आँसु भरी प्रार्थनाओं से करें। (यिर्मयाह 29ः 7; मत्ती 25ः 27-30)

6. पिता, हम धन्यवाद देते हैं कि हर एक विश्वासी जो आपकी सरकार चलाने की जिम्मेदारी कन्धों पर रखेगा आप उन्हें आशीष देंगे और अपने मुख का प्रकाश उन पर चमकाएंगे और उन पर अनुग्रह करेंगे। (गिनती 6ः 24-28)

7. संचार माध्यम में उल्लेखित आज के महत्वपूर्ण समाचारों पर प्रार्थना करें।

Third Sunday of the Month

Subject: City Government

Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God. He gives it to whomsoever He will, and sets over it the lowest of men. (Romans 13: 1; Daniel 4: 17)

The blood of the Lamb slain on the cross has redeemed us and made us kings and priests (Revelation 5: 10). Jesus is the King of kings and the government is upon His shoulders (Isaiah 9: 7). We are the servant kings and He is our King.

He is the head and we are His body, His arms, legs and shoulders. Therefore, the government is really on our shoulders and we are responsible for establishing His righteous government on earth. So if our city is in bad shape with corruption, lack of water, electricity and other essential items, bad roads and filthy slums with people defecating all over the place, then we are to be blamed for bad governance. We are the repairer of roads and restorers of the waste places. (Isaiah 58: 12) 

Every day we pray, ‘Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth’ but we do not see His will being done here because we do nothing about it. Kingdom means government. When we pray for the kingdom of God, we are in effect praying for the Government of God. Jesus said ‘All authority in heaven and earth has been given to Me.’ But we do not see His authority here on earth. Ignorance and dereliction of duty by the heirs has resulted in the devil taking over the authority and the government. We must take the authority and throw him out and install the government of God so that His will is done in our city and the nation. 

For this we need to prayer walk and know the city just like Nehemiah did. He mobilized every household for repairing the fallen wall right in front of their houses. Similarly we should take charge of our locality and through intercession, repair roads, provide food, water, shelter, toilet facility and all the other essential services necessary to bring dignity in the lives of the poor people. As servant kings we must rule the nation on behalf of Jesus our King. (Mathew 5: 5)

:: PRAYER :: 

1. Father God, the word that goes out of Your mouth shall not return void but it shall prosper and accomplish the purpose for which it was sent. Let the mountains and the hills break forth into singing and all the rivers and the trees clap their hands. (Isaiah 55: 11, 12)

2. Lord, You have redeemed us to bring in the rule of love, peace justice, equality and prosperity for all. Today we uphold all the officials of our city and the nation, in Your powerful name, before the throne of Grace that they may know and fear their creator. Let our light so shine before men that people may see their good works and glorify our Father in heaven. (Matthew 5: 16)

3. Lord, we pray that when Your servant kings go to visit the perishing, that they may find open doors, hearts and minds. That they may boldly profess the good news of Your government and that they would effectively deal with the adversary. (Colossians 4: 2, 3)

4. O Father, let us who are Your servant kings, comprehend the awesome authority and power You have given to us. May we reign on earth and remove the kingdom of darkness and bring in Your righteous rule of justice, peace and love in our city. That we who are Your prophets, priests and kings will zealously serve the people and transform the nation. (Revelation 5: 10; Amos 5: 11-15)

5. Lord, You cried over Your City Jerusalem. We repent because in spite of Your clear command to pray diligently and to work for the welfare of our city, we have not done so. Lord, burden us, Your stewards, to rule our city with tears. (Jeremiah 29: 7; Matthew 23: 27-39)

6. Father, we pray for those who participate in Your Government that You bless them and keep them, You make Your face to shine upon them and be gracious to them; Lord, lift up Your countenance upon them and give them peace. (Numbers 6: 24-26)
