The Church in your house.

In the Bible, we read that in the first century, believers met in houses and worshipped God.

– House to house (Acts 2:46) 

- Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts.

और वे प्रति दिन एक मन होकर मन्दिर में इकट्ठे होते थे, और घर घर रोटी तोड़ते हुए आनन्द और मन की सीधाई से भोजन किया करते थे।

– House to house (Acts 5:42)

- Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Messiah.

और प्रति दिन मन्दिर में और घर घर में उपदेश करने, और इस बात का सुसमाचार सुनाने से, कि यीशु ही मसीह है न रूके॥

– House after house (Acts 8:3)

-  But Saul began to destroy the church. Going from house to house, he dragged off both men and women and put them in prison. 

शाऊल कलीसिया को उजाड़ रहा था; और घर घर घुसकर पुरूषों और स्त्रियों को घसीट घसीट कर बन्दीगृह में डालता था॥

– Cornelius’ house (Acts 10:2)

-  He and all his family were devout and God-fearing; he gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly.

वह भक्त था, और अपने सारे घराने समेत परमेश्वर से डरता था, और यहूदी लागों को बहुत दान देता, और बराबर परमेश्वर से प्रार्थना करता था।

– Mary’s house (Acts 12:12)

-  When this had dawned on him, he went to the house of Mary the mother of John, also called Mark, where many people had gathered and were praying.

तब पतरस ने सचेत होकर कहा; अब मैं ने सच जान लिया कि प्रभु ने अपना स्वर्गदूत भेजकर मुझे हेरोदेस के हाथ से छुड़ा लिया, और यहूदियों की सारी आशा तोड़ दी।

– Jailer’s house  (Acts 16:32) 

- Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all the others in his house.

उन्होंने कहा, प्रभु यीशु मसीह पर विश्वास कर, तो तू और तेरा घराना उद्धार पाएगा।

– Lydia’s house (Acts 16:40)

- After Paul and Silas came out of the prison, they went to Lydia’s house, where they met with the brothers and sisters and encouraged them. Then they left.

और आकर उन्हें मनाया, और बाहर ले जाकर बिनती की कि नगर से चले जाएं।

– Titus Justus’ house (Acts 18:7)

-  Then Paul left the synagogue and went next door to the house of Titius Justus, a worshiper of God.

परन्तु जब वे विरोध और निन्दा करने लगे, तो उस ने अपने कपड़े झाड़कर उन से कहा; तुम्हारा लोहू तुम्हारी गर्दन पर रहे: मैं निर्दोष हूं: अब से मैं अन्यजातियों के पास जाऊंगा।

– House to house (Acts 20:20)

-  You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything that would be helpful to you but have taught you publicly and from house to house.

अर्थात बड़ी दीनता से, और आंसू बहा बहाकर, और उन परीक्षाओं में जो यहूदियों के षडयन्त्र के कारण मुझ पर आ पड़ी; मैं प्रभु की सेवा करता ही रहा।

 

– Prisca and Aquila’s house (Romans 16:5)

-  Greet also the church that meets at their house.

Greet my dear friend Epenetus, who was the first convert to Christ in the province of Asia.

और उस कलीसिया को भी नमस्कार जो उन के घर में है। मेरे प्रिय इपैनितुस को जो मसीह के लिये आसिया का पहिला फल है, नमस्कार।

– Prisca and Aquila’s house (1 Corinthians 16:19)

- The churches in the province of Asia send you greetings. Aquila and Priscilla[a] greet you warmly in the Lord, and so does the church that meets at their house.

आसिया की कलीसियाओं की ओर से तुम को नमस्कार; अक्विला और प्रिसका का और उन के घर की कलीसिया को भी तुम को प्रभु में बहुत बहुत नमस्कार।

– Nymphas' house (Colossians 4:15)

-  Give my greetings to the brothers and sisters at Laodicea, and to Nympha and the church in her house.

लौदीकिया के भाइयों को और तुमफास और उन के घर की कलीसिया को नमस्कार कहना।

– Philemon' s house (Philemon 1:2) 

-  Also to Apphia our sister and Archippus our fellow soldier—and to the church that meets in your home:
