Kingdom Prayers

1. Ask for nations : God has promised, “Ask of Me and I will give you nations for an inheritance and the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession.” Prayer (Proseuchomai) is not reciting a shopping list, it includes making a vow, covenanting with God to, “Thy kingdom come and Thy will be done on earth” to become a blessing to all the families of the earth. (Psalm 2: 8, Matt. 6:10; Gen. 12:3; 22: 17-18)

2. Pray for your city : God has kept you in your city to intercede on her behalf; “And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.” (Jer. 29:7; 1Tim. 2: 8)

3. Ask for intercessors : God is looking for those who will stand in the gap between God and the perishing, so that they will not be destroyed because He does not want anyone to perish. (Eze. 22: 30; 2 Pet. 3: 9)

4. Ask for the out pouring of the Holy Spirit : God promised that in the last days He will pour out His  Spirit on all flesh, men, women, sons, daughters and servants. Pray for boldness so that His holy servants will speak His word boldly and that signs and wonders will be done in His name. (Acts 2: 17-18; 4: 29-30; Eph. 6: 19-20)

5. Pray and send laborers : Yeshua said that the harvest is ready but the laborers are few. He gave an explicit command to pray to the Lord of harvest to send forth laborers into harvest fields. Billions are ready and there are millions of Christians but only a handful of laborers. 

6. Expel the demonic kingdom : Identify, bind and expel the territorial principalities, powers, rulers of darkness and other spirits who blind mind’s eyes and who rule through deception and lies. Expose all deception and break every yoke, destroy the works of the devil and set the people free. Pray that people will not pray to gods that cannot save them. (Dan.10:13,20; 2 Cor. 4:4; Isa.56:8; Rev 12: 9;1 John 3: 8; Jer.10:11; Act 17:29,30)

7. Pray for the revelation of the mystery of the kingdom: That Christians may not suffer blindness as it afflicted the Jews but that the believers may know the mystery that “the salvation of God has been sent to Gentiles and they will hear it.” because the Word of God says so. (Acts 28:28; Eph.3: 5-10; Rom. 11:25) 

8. Pray for the politicians : We have been commanded to rule the nations in vicarious ways through our intercession for our politicians and rulers setting them free from corruption and wickedness. Pray for them daily, by name. God loves it because it will bring the kingdom of peace, godliness, justice and dignity. (1Tim. 2: 1-4)

9. Pray for the families :  Husbands, love your wives lest your prayers be hindered. Fathers love your children, so that your days may be prolonged and lest God smite the earth with a curse. Salvation of the world depends on right relationships at home. (1 Pet. 3: 7; Deut 6:2; Mal. 4: 6)

10. Kingdom prayers: Kingdom is at the heart of God. We need to have the mind of Christ to prioritize kingdom issues first and pray Scripture verses to remind Him of His promises. You handle His business first and He will do yours without even asking. (Matt. 6:33, 1Cor. 2:16)
