प्रार्थना विषय: राष्ट्रीय सरकार और सुरक्षा सेवाएं (1 तीमुथियुस 2ः 1-4)

क्या ही धन्य है वह राष्ट्र जिसका परमेश्वर यहोवा है, वह जाति जिसे उसने निज भाग होने के लिये चुना है। (भजन संहिता 33ः 12)

बाइबल हमें स्पष्ट शिक्षा देती हैं कि सब लोगों का आदर करो, राजा का सम्मान करो, परमेश्वर का भय मानो, शासकों के प्रत्येक नियमों का पालन करो, क्योंकि यह परमेश्वर की इच्छा है। हमारे प्रभु ने भी स्वयं को भ्रष्ट और अन्यायी धार्मिक और राजनैतिक अधिकारियों के अधीन किया था। परन्तु हम परमेश्वर के महिमा के विरूद्ध की बातों का समर्थन नहीं कर सकते। (प्रे.के काम 5ः 28-29; 1 पतरस 3ः 13-15)

हमारे राष्ट्र का अच्छे शासन का रिकार्ड लम्बे समय से नहीं है। राजनैतिक पार्टियों का अपराधिकरण जिससे हमारे उच्चतम लोक सभा, राज्य सभा एवं विधानसभाओं प्रदूषण, जातिवाद का बखेड़ा, कमजोर वर्ग का शोषण, अल्प संख्यक समाज के विरूद्ध दुष्प्रचार, आतंकवाद, जेल और थाने में हत्या, बलात्कार, भ्रष्टाचार, कानून के रक्षकों द्वारा ही कानून की धज्जिया उड़ाना, साधारण बात है। (2 थिस्सलुनीकियों 2ः 3)

न्यायियों, वकीलों, और पुलिस हेतु निरंतर प्रार्थना करें ताकि वे सच्चा न्याय, और करूणा से वे विधवाओं, अनाथों और कंगालों की सुरक्षा करें। (जर्कयाह 7ः 9-10)

जल, थल और वायुसेना को सच्चे प्रभु से सुरक्षा और बचाव प्राप्त करना चाहिये, क्योकि जब तक प्रभु शहर की चैकसी न करे, प्रहरी का जागना व्यर्थ होता है।

हमें मसीही अधिकारियों को निरंतर प्रार्थना में उठाना चाहिये, जिससे वे अपने जीवन एवं कार्य शैली से परमेश्वर के नियमों के संरक्षक बने। (भजन संहिता 127ः 1)

शत्रु के आक्रमण से उत्पन्न भय, भूख और भ्रष्टाचार से बचाने के लिये हमें प्रहरी नियुक्त किया है। प्रभु के मध्यस्थों की अग्निशक्ति, शैतान की सेना की सारी शक्ति की अपेक्षा आत्याधिक शक्तिशाली है। परमेश्वर ने हमें आश्वासन दिया है कि यदि तुम आज्ञाकारी रहोगे तो पृथ्वी के लोग तुमसे डरेंगे। कि तुम सिर बनोगे परन्तु यदि अनाज्ञाकारी रहोगे तो पूँछ बन जाओगे। दुःख की बात है कि अधिकांश इसाई भ्रष्ट राजनीतिज्ञों के पीछे दुम हिलाते हुवे भागते है। (व्य.वि. 28ः 9-15; लूका 10ः 19)

।। प्रार्थना ।।

1. प्रभु हमारे पिता, स्वर्ग आपका सिंहासन और हमारा देश आपके पांवों की चैकी है। हम आपके अनुग्रह के सिंहासन के सामने चार लाख केन्द्रीय सरकारी कर्मचारियों को उठाते हैं। हम प्रार्थना करते हैं कि वे सत्य को जाने और उद्धार पाएं। (प्रेरितों के काम 7ः 48-49; 1 तीमुथियुस 2ः 1-4)

2. पवित्र पिता, आपने हमें सांपो और बिच्छुओं जैसे राजनीति के अपराधीकरण, आतंकवाद, अल्पसंख्यकों के मानव अधिकारों के हनन, और भ्रष्टाचार के दुष्टात्माओं को कुचलने का अधिकार दिया है। हम प्रार्थना करते हैं कि सभी विश्वासी पूरे अधिकार से इन आत्माओं को बांधकर देश से बाहर निकालें। (यशायाह 52ः 7)

3. प्रभुजी, शैतान हमारे राष्ट्र के लोकसभा, राज्यसभा तथा प्रान्तीय विधानसभाओं में घुस कर अपराधीतत्व, धोखेबाज, बलात्कारी, हत्यारे और अन्य कुकर्मी प्रतिनिधियों के द्वारा शासन चला रहा है - हम अपने शीर्ष सभाओं से जंगल राज तथा राजनीतिक प्रदूषण से शुद्धिकरण के लिये विशेष प्रार्थना करते हैं।

4. ओ, शांति के राजकुमार, हम प्रार्थना करते हैं कि राजनैतिक दलों के सभी नेता, जैसे कि कांग्रेस, बी.जे.पी., जनता, समता, आर.एस.एस., वी.एच.पी. बजरंगदल, शिवसेना, कम्यूनिष्ट, बहुजन, समाजवादी, और प्रादेशिक दल, सत्य को पहिचाने, और शान्ति के राजकुमार के राज्य की स्थापना हेतु कार्य करें।

5. हम आपके सिंहासन के सामने सभी मसीही अधिकारियों, विधायको और सांसदों को उठाते हैं। हम प्रार्थना करते हैं कि वे पृथ्वी के नमक और ज्योति बनें और भ्रष्टाचार तथा मूर्ती पूजा से कोई समझौता नहीं करें।(दानिय्येल 3ः 13-18)

6. प्रभु आपको, हमारे देश की गणतंत्र, सामाजिक और लोकतंत्रीय संविधान हेतु धन्यवाद, जिसमें सुसमाचार प्रचार का मूलभूत अधिकार है। हम प्रार्थना करते हैं हर एक मसीही इस स्वतन्त्रता का लाभ उठाए जिससे देश का हर घुटना झुके और हर एक जीभ अंगीकार करे कि यीशु ही प्रभु है। (फिलिप्पियों 2ः 10-11)

Second Wednesday of the Month

Subject: The National Government, and the Defense Services. (1 Timothy 2: 1-4)

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, and the people whom He has chosen as His own inheritance.” (Psalm 33: 12)

The Bible clearly teaches us to honor all people, love the brotherhood, fear God and honor the king. It also tells us to submit to every ordinance of man for Lord’s sake, even to the rulers...for this is the will of God. Our Lord submitted himself to the corrupt and unjust religious and political authorities. Of course we do not submit to anything that does not glorify God. (1 Peter 3: 13-15)

Our nation does not have a track record of good governance. There is criminalization of political parties who create a frenzy of communalism and warped version of ‘nationalism’ and whip up unadulterated xenophobia especially against the minorities and the weaker sections of the society. Terrorism, custodial deaths and murder of the innocent in fake encounters are blatantly committed by the custodians of the law. 

We need to constantly pray to God for Judges, the Lawyers and the Police, so that they may execute true justice and show mercy and compassion. That they may not oppress the widow and the fatherless and that they may protect the poor and the alien. (Zechariah 7: 9, 10)

The army, navy and the air force must seek security and safety from the Lord because unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.

We should constantly uphold the Christian officials and those who sit in the parliaments because they are the guardians of Godly laws, so that by their character and life style, the name of Jesus Christ is glorified. (Psalm 127: 1)

Our Lord has appointed us as watchmen to guard our cities and the nation against the attacks of the enemy. The firepower of the intercessors of the Lord’s army is immeasurably greater than any army, navy and the air force of the world, put together. All we need to do is to use this firepower.

:: PRAYER :: 

1. O Lord our Father, heaven is Your throne and our country is Your footstool. In the name of Your son Jesus Christ we lift up all the leaders, officers and four million government employees of the central Government, before Your throne of grace. We humbly pray that they all be saved and come to the knowledge of truth. (1 Timothy 2: 1-4)

2. Holy Father, thank You for giving us the authority to trample over serpents and scorpions like spirits of criminalization of politics, state sponsored terrorism and violation of human rights of the minority and the marginalized. We pray that all believers will take authority, rebuke these spirits and bring them under subjection.

3. We pray that our government may give special attention to the poorest of the poor, oppressed, widows, orphans, afflicted, refugees, women, children, villagers, pavement and slum dwellers, sick, disabled and those who are unjustly in prison. (Micah 4: 6, 7)

4. O Prince of Peace, we pray that the leaders of all the political parties such as Congress, B.J.P., Janata, Samata, R.S.S., VHP, Bajrang Dal, Shiv Sena, Communist, Bahujan, Samajvadi and the regional parties may know the truth and work for the establishment of the kingdom of the Prince of Peace.

5. We uphold all the Christian officials and those who sit in the state and national parliaments, before Your throne that they may be the light and salt of the earth. They may remain strong in their faith like Shadrach, Meshack and Abed-nego and not compromise with corruption and idol worship. (Daniel 3: 13-18)

6. Lord, thank You for the Democratic, Secular, and Republic Constitution of our country giving us the fundamental right to preach and proclaim our faith. We pray that every Christian will take advantage of this privilege and make every knee to bow and every tongue of this country, to confess that Jesus is Lord.(Philippians 2: 10, 11)
