प्रार्थना विषय: भारतवर्ष के लिये प्रार्थना

उदयाचल से लेकर असताचल तक जाति-जाति में मेरा नाम महान होगा...। (मलाकी 1ः 11)

भारत वर्ष की आबादी 100 करोड़ से ऊपर है और प्रतिवर्ष 2.5 करोड़ की आबादी से बढ़ रहा हैं। 28 राज्य और 7 केन्द्रशासित प्रदेश हैं। उत्तर में काश्मीर में शून्य प्रतिशत मसीही हैं जबकि दक्षिण भारत के कन्या कुमारी जिले में 50 प्रतिशत से अधिक मसीही हैं। अधिकांश उत्तर-पूर्वी राज्यों में जनसंख्या का 90 प्रतिशत मसीही हैं। केरला के कोटाय्यम जिले में सम्पूर्ण उत्तरी भारत की तुलना से अधिक मसीही हैं।

भारत वर्ष की 70 प्रतिशत आबादी गाँवों में रहती है परन्तु शहरीकरण तेजी से फैल  रहा है। लगभग एक लाख कलीसियांए सम्पूर्ण भारत में हैं जिसमें अधिकांश दक्षिण भारत में हैं। मसीहियों और साधनों के अभाव के बावजूद पिछले दशक में उत्तर भारत के गाँवों में महत्वपूर्ण रूप से विश्वासियों की संख्या बढ़ी है। भारत वर्ष में दस लाख बस्तियां हैं परन्तु अधिकांश चर्च शहरों में हैं। 25 महानगरों और 4,500 नगरों में लाखों मसीही हैं परन्तु शहरों में वृद्धि का कारण धर्मान्तरण नहीं परन्तु स्थानांतरण है। 

भारतवर्ष के 28,000 पिन कोड़ में से 22,000 पिन कोड़ में कोई पूर्णकालिक सुसंदेश वाहक नहीं है। जबकि 2.5 करोड़ मसीही केवल 6,000 पिन कोड में रहते हंै, परन्तु उनमें से अधिकंश पैसों की पूजा करने में व्यस्त हैं और प्रभु के महान आदेश के काम को पूरा करने के लिए उनके के लिये पास समय नहीं हैं।

1,600 भाषाओं में, बाइबल केवल 45 भाषाओं में तथा 50 भाषाओं में नया नियम छापी गई है। 65 भाषाओं में रेड़ियों प्रसारण किया जाता हैं, परन्तु बहुत थोड़े से फल मिलते हैं। आज भारत वर्ष में दस लाख फसल काटने वाले मज़दूरों की आवश्यकता है। यदि प्रत्येक मसीही परिवार अपने पड़ोस में कलीसिया रोपण करे तो हिन्दुस्तान को मसीहीस्तान बनाने का लक्ष्य केवल एक पीढ़ी में पूरा किया जा सकता है।

प्रचुर मात्रा में तलंत और स्त्रोत होते हुए भी किसी भी कलीसिया के पास अपने शहर को सुसमाचार द्वारा उलट पुलट कर देने की सुव्यवस्थित योजना नहीं है। 

।। प्रार्थना ।।

1. ओ प्रभु! आप उदयाचल से लेकर अस्ताचल तक प्रभुता करते हैं, हम आपका धन्यवाद करते हैं कि आपने क्रूस पर खुल्लम-खुल्ला शैतान का तमाशा किया। प्रभुजी अब हम प्रार्थना करते हैं कि आपके नाम पर सभी विश्वासी, शैतानी शक्तियों को हर एक नगर, गाँव और झुग्गी-झोपड़ी वाली बस्तियों में खुल्लम-खुल्ला तमाशा बनाकर नष्ट करें। (कुलुस्सियों 2ः 14-15)

2. हम प्रार्थना करते हैं कि विश्वासी जाकर बलवंत को बांधे और शान्ति के घर को खोलें ताकि छः लाख गाँवों और चार लाख शहरी बस्तियांें में प्रार्थना, शिष्य बनाने, सहभागिता, रोटी तोड़ने, जल संस्कार, चिन्ह और चमत्कार और नये विश्वासियों को जोड़ने वाली गृह कलीसिया बने। (लूका 10ः 5-8)

3. प्रभु हम प्रार्थना करते हैं कि सुसमाचार हर एक भाषा में उपलब्ध हो। हम बाबइल अनुवादको, और रेडियों तथा टी.वी. प्रचारकों को उठाते हैं ताकि उनके द्वारा बोया गया बीज फलदायी हो। (मरकुस 4ः 26-29)

4. स्वर्गीय पिता, इस देश का हर एक नागरिक जानें कि स्वर्ग तथा पृथ्वी पर की हर एक वस्तु, दृष्य या अदृष्य, सिंहासन, राज्य, प्रधानताएं और शाक्तियां, सभी प्रभु यीशु के द्वारा और उसकी महिमा लिये सृजी गई हैं। (कुलुस्सियों 1ः 16)

5. हम प्रार्थना करते हैं कि इस देश के हर एक निवासी, यह जाने कि, उनके लिये आपके विचार दुष्टता के नहीं परन्तु शान्ति के विचार हैं ? उन्हें एक भविष्य और एक आशा देने के लिये हैं। (यिर्मयाह 29ः 11)

6. प्रभु हम आपको धन्यवाद देते हैं कि हम भारतवर्ष का सांकेतिक पहिचान अशोक चक्र है जिसमें ‘‘सत्य मेव जयते’’ लिखा है अर्थात सत्य की हमेशा जीत होती है। धन्यवाद हो क्योंकि प्रभु यीशु ही सत्य हैं इसलिये उनका जयवंत होना सुनिश्चित है। (युहन्ना 14ः 6; प्रकाशितवाक्य 17ः 14)

Subject: Prayer for India

“For from the rising of sun, even to its going down. My name shall be great among the Gentiles.. (Malachi 1: 11)

The population of India is over one billion. India grows by 25 million every year. There are 28 states and 7 federally administered units. Kashmir in the north has 0% Christians, whereas Kanyakumari district in the extreme south has more than 50% Christians. In most of the North Eastern states nearly 90% of the population is Christian whereas in western Gujarat not even 0.1% are Christians. There are more churches in Kottayam district of Kerala than in the entire north India.

70% of the population of India lives in villages but rapid urbanization is going on. Until recently there were only about 50,000 churches all over but mostly in south India. In the last decade the number has increased at least four folds with strong growth in north India. There are 600,000 villages in India but most of the churches are in towns and cities. In 25 metropolitan cities and 4500 towns, there are millions of nominal Christians, who worship ‘wealth’ as their most revered idol. Their growth is due to transfer or biological rather than by conversion. Systematic church-planting program for the slums and other unreached peoples of the cities has now started, mostly by independents.

Out of 28,000 pin codes in India, 22,000 pin codes have no evangelists. Twenty five million Christians are living in 6,000 pin codes but most of them are busy worshipping Mammon and have no time for completing the task of the Great Commission.

Of the 1600 languages, the Bible has been printed in 45 languages only and the New Testament in 50 languages. Radio broadcast is done in 65 languages but with very poor quality follow up so there is very little fruit that remains. India requires one million laborers to reap the harvest. If every Christian family adopts their neighborhood for church planting then the task of discipling of India can be done in one generation only.

:: PRAYER :: 

1. O Lord, who rules from the rising of sun to the going down of the same, we thank You that you triumphed on the cross and publicly ridiculed the Serpent, the deceiver of the people of this nation. Lord now we pray that in Your name all believers will go out and publicly rebuke, demolish and destroy the serpent power in every city, town, village and in every slum. (Colossians 2: 14, 15)

2. We pray that believers will go and bind the strongman and open up ‘Houses of Peace’ in each of the one million villages and shanty towns for prayer, discipling, fellowship, breaking of bread, baptisms, signs and wonders and adding of new believers. (Luke 10: 5-8)

3. Lord grant that the gospel be available in every language. We uphold the Bible translators and Radio and T.V. Preachers that the seed being sown by them may not fall by the roadside but be nurtured carefully so that they may be fruitful and their fruit may remain. Lord, let there be Radio churches everywhere. (Mark 4: 26-29)

4. Heavenly Father, grant that every citizen of this country may know that all things that are in heaven and on earth, visible or invisible, thrones, dominions principalities and powers were all created by Jesus Christ and for Jesus Christ. (Colossians 1: 16)

5. We pray that every inhabitant of this country will know that the thoughts You have for them are thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give them a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29: 11)

6. We thank You Lord that we are the citizens of India, whose national flag and the Constitution carry the symbol of Ashoka Chakra which says ‘Satya Mev Jayate’ which means ‘Truth always prevails’. We thank You that Jesus is the truth and He will prevail. (John 14: 6; Revelation 17: 14)
