प्रार्थना विषय: प्रान्त पर मध्यस्थता द्वारा शासन करना

जब तक कि तू जान न ले कि मनुष्यों के राज्य में परमप्रधान ही प्रमुता करता है, और जिसे चाहे वह उसे दे देता है। (दानिय्येल 4ः 25)

राजा नबूकदनेस्सर ने अपने घमण्ड में सोचा कि उसने अपनी सामर्थ से स्वयं की महिमा के लिये विशाल बाबुल का निर्माण किया है। परमेश्वर ने उसे दण्ड देकर महल से नंगा बाहर निकाल कर पशुओं के समान घास खाने दिया, जब तक कि उसने यह नहीं स्वीकारा कि मनुष्यों पर परमप्रधान राज्य करता हैं। दानिय्येल, एस्तेर तथा मौर्दकै ने उपवास और प्रार्थना के द्वारा बाबुल पर शासन किया।

जवान दाऊद, गोलियत पर अत्यन्त क्रोधित हुआ क्योंकि उसने जीवते परमेश्र की निन्दा की थी। उसने दानव से कहा कि तू तलवार-भाले पर भरोसा रखता है परन्तु ‘‘मैं सेनाओं के प्रभु के नाम पर आता हूॅ... ताकि समस्त पृथ्वी जाने कि इस्राएल का एक परमेश्वर है’’। दाऊद एक चरवाहा लड़का, इस्राएल का राजा बन गया क्योंकि वह एक भयानक शत्रु के विरूद्ध खड़ा हुआ। (1 शमूएल 17ः 45-47)

मूसा ने इस्राएल के बारह जासूसों को कनान देश का सर्वेक्षण करने भेजा। दस प्राचीन जिन्हें परमेश्वर के छुड़ाने वाले सामर्थ पर विश्वास नहीं था, उन्होंने भयभीत होकर झूठी खबर लाए। इसका परिणाम यह हुआ कि वे और उनकी वंशावली जंगल में नाश कर दी गयीं। यहोशू ने अच्छी खबर लाई और इस्राएल का शासक बन गया तथा कालेब को हारून का उत्तराधिकार मिला। (गिनती 13ः 1-33)

वर्तमान में एक तानाशाह ने घोषणा किया कि कोई ईश्वर नहीं है और तानाशाही अनन्त तक चलेगी। एक दिन बड़े सबेरे उस देश के विश्वासियों ने उसके महल के चारों ओर मानव श्रंखला बना कर प्रभु से प्रार्थना किया तो एक वर्ष के भीतर ही वह तानाशाह लाइलाज बीमारी से मर गया। मसीहियों ने अपने अधिकार का उपयोग कर उस राष्ट्र का शासन बदल दिया।

अपने लोहू के द्वारा प्रभु ने हमें इसलिए याजक और राजा बनाया है, कि हम अधिकार सहित अपने क्षेत्र में उसकी तरफ से शासन करें। (प्रकाशितवाक्य 5ः 9-10)

।। प्रार्थना ।।

1. ओ अनुग्रहकारी प्रभु आप ही अल्फा और ओमेगा, आदि और अंत, प्रथम और अंतिम हैं। आपके पराक्रमी नाम से हम राष्ट्रों को छलने और नाश करने वाले शैतान को डांटते हैं। उसे हमारे क्षेत्र में हस्तक्षेप करने का कोई अधिकार नहीं है क्योंकि हम अपने शासकों के लिये प्रार्थना कर रहे हैं। प्रभु हम राज्यपाल, मुख्यमंत्री, विधायकों, विरोधी दलों, पुलिस और सभी प्रशासनिक अधिकारियों के उद्धार के लिये प्रार्थना करते हैं। (प्रकाशितवाक्य 22ः 13; मलाकी 3ः 11-12)

2. प्रभुजी न्यायियों को भी मालूम हो कि एक दिन उनका भी न्याय मसीहियों के ही द्वारा किया जाएगा। इस कारण उन्हें भी परमेश्वर के भय से दूसरों का न्याय करना चाहिये। (1 कुरिन्थियों 6ः 1-4; मत्ती 19ः 28)

3. हम प्रार्थना करते हैं कि प्रान्त के सारे शासकीय अधिकारी जाने कि घूस लेना और भ्रष्टाचार पाप है और कि पाप की मज़दूरी मृत्यु है। वे जाने कि किसी दूसरे के द्वारा उद्धार नहीं है क्योंकि मनुष्यों के बीच और कोई दूसरा नाम नहीं जिसके द्वारा हम उद्धार पाएं। (रोमियों 6ः 23; प्रेरितों के काम 4ः 12)

4. हम टी.वी., रेडियों, अखबारों, सम्पादकों और प्रकाशकों और वे सभी जो लोगों के मस्तिष्क को प्रभावित करते हैं कि वे आपसे डरें और संचार माध्यम के द्वारा अन्याय के बंधनों को खोलें तथा कंगालो के सताव की श्रृंखला को तोड़ें। हम प्रार्थना करते हैं कि संचार माध्यम प्रतिदिन आपकी महिमा करे और आपके नाम को विशाल करे।(यशायाह 58ः 3-12)

5. हम पुलिस एवं उनके अधिकारियों के उद्धार हेतु प्रार्थना करते हैं कि वे मानव अधिकारों का हनन नहीं करें, तथा निर्दोष के विरूद्ध झूठी गवाही न दें, और घूस नहीं लें, परन्तु अपने वेतन पर संतोष करें। (लूका 3ः 14)

6. पिता हम आपको धन्यवाद देते हैं कि आपने हमारे लिये धार्मिकता का मुकुट रखा है... न केवल हमारे लिये, परन्तु उनके लिये भी जो आपके प्रगट होने के लिए अन्य जातियों को तैयार कर रहे हैं। (2 तीमुथियुस 4ः 7-8)

Subject: Prayer for the State Government

“...Till you know that the Most High God rules in the kingdom of men and gives to whom He chooses. (Daniel 4: 25)

King Nebuchadnezzar in his arrogance thought that he had built up the great Babylon with his own might and power, for his own majesty. God immediately punished him and sent him out to live naked, and eat grass like the beasts of the field until he acknowledged that it is the Most High God who rules in the kingdom of men. Daniel took authority and ruled the nation through fasting and prayer. (Daniel 4: 28-34)

The Young David was angry with Goliath because he had defied the armies of the living God. He took his authority in God and told the giant that the Lord does not save with sword, spear and javelin but the battle is the Lord’s, ‘I come in the name of the Lord of the hosts...that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.’ David the shepherd boy became the ruler of Israel for standing boldly against a formidable enemy. (1 Samuel 17: 45-47)

Recently an eastern potentate declared from the ramparts of the fort that there is no God and dictatorship will last forever. One day early in the morning, the believers in that nation formed a human chain around his palace. They prayed to the Lord that either He should change the heart of the dictator or else remove him altogether. Within a year the dictator died of an incurable disease. The Christians used their authority in Christ and ruled that nation.

God is going to shake the heavens and the earth and only that which is unshakable will remain and the ‘overcomers’ will receive a kingdom, which cannot be shaken. (Hebrews 12: 26-28; Revelation 21: 7)

Through His blood, the Lord has made us priests and kings and we must take authority in Christ and reign here and now, on His behalf. (Revelation 5: 9, 10)

:: PRAYER :: 

1. O Gracious Lord, You are the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last. In Your mighty name we rebuke the Deceiver and the Destroyer of the nations that he has no right to rule in our region because we are praying for those who rule and have authority over us. Lord we pray for the salvation of the Governor, the Chief Minister, Ministers, Legislators, the Opposition party, police and all the administrative officials. (Revelation 22: 13; Malachi 3: 11, 12)

2. We pray that judges may know that one-day, they too will be judged by You, a righteous judge. Therefore, they should judge others with the fear of God. (1 Corinthians 6: 1-11).

 3. We pray that the state officers may know that bribery and corruption are sin and the wages of sin is death. That they may know that there is no salvation in any other, for there is no name under heaven, given among men by which we must be saved. (Acts 4: 12)

4. We pray for the T.V., Radio, Newspapers, editors and publishers and all those who influence people’s minds that they may fear You and use the media to break the bonds of injustice and chains of oppression from the poor. We pray that the media may daily glorify and magnify Your name. (Isaiah 58: 3-12)

5. We pray for the salvation of police officers and policemen. We pray that they may not violate human rights. That they may not give false witness and persecute the innocent. That they may not take bribes but remain satisfied with their wages. (Luke 3: 14)

6. Father we thank You because You have laid up for us a crown of righteousness...and not only for us but for all who have loved His appearing. (2 Timothy 4: 7, 8)
