महीने का दूसरा गुरूवार

प्रार्थना विषय: स्वदेशी कलीसियांए

देख मैंने तुझे आज के दिन जातियों और राज्यों पर नियुक्त किया है कि तु उन्हें उखाड़ डाले, ढा दे, नष्ट करे, उनका तख्ता पलट दे, और नये सिरे से निर्माण करे और रोपे। (यिर्मयाह 1ः 9-10)

परमेश्वर एक है परन्तु विश्वव्यापी कलीसिया 33,000 डिनामिनेशन्स (संस्थाओं) में विभाजित हो गई है। संस्थावाद ही मतभेद और विच्छेद के कारण है। धर्मशास्त्र हमें एकता के बंधन को रखने की शिक्षा देता है (इफिसियों 4ः 3)। क्योंकि एक विभाजित घर स्वयं में, खड़़ा नहीं रह सकता (मत्ती 12ः 25)। शैतान संस्थावाद की दुष्टात्मा के माध्यम से हमें एक दूसरे से भागीदारी करने से दूर रखता है।

हमें हमारे संस्कृति और नये नियम के सिद्धान्तों पर आधारित कलीसियाओं की आवश्यकता है क्योंकि हमारे अन्य जाति के भाई और बहन कभी भी पाश्चात्य संस्कृति की कलीसिया में नहीं आएंगे, जब तक कि वे प्रासंगिक नहीं बनती। विदेशी दिखने वाले भवन, पुलपिट, विदेशी वस्त्र, आराधना और संगीत में अंग्रेजी का प्रचुर उपयोग, क्रिस्मस और ईस्टर जैसे त्यौहार इत्यादि, सभी बाइबल से परे हैं तथा नये नियम की कलीसिया के सादगी से कोसों दूर हट गये हैं।

यिर्मयाह के समान हमें भी व्यर्थ में हल्ला करने वाली बांझ कलीसियाओं को उखाड़ फेंकने, ढ़ा देने, नष्ट कर देने का आदेश मिला है और नये नियम की तेजी से बढ़ने वाली कलीसिया के नमूने को पुनः रोपण करना है।(यिर्मयाह 1ः 9-10)

प्रत्येक निष्ठावान हिन्दु गम्भीरता से प्रार्थना कर रहे हैं कि ‘‘ओम् असत्ो मा सद्गमय। तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय। मृत्यो मा, अमृतसगमय अर्थात हे सर्वशक्तिमान मुझे असत्य से सत्य की ओर, अन्धकार से ज्योति की ओर और मृत्यु से अन्नत जीवन की ओर ले चल’’। वे मंदिरों और धार्मिक स्थानों में सत्य की खोज करते हैं। परन्तु सत्य को जानने वाले मसीही चुप्पी लगाये बैठे हैं। उनके लिए प्रार्थना भी नहीं करते। घटिया ईसाइयों से दुःखी होकर अब परमेश्वर उन लोगों को खोज रहा है जो अन्य जातियों के लिये स्वदेशी कलीसियाएं रोपण करने को तैयार हैं।(रोमियों 10ः 20-21)

।। प्रार्थना ।।

1. ओ प्रभु आपने इस देश से इतना प्रेम किया कि आपके एकलौते पुत्र ने अपना लोहू बहाया कि सब जातिया बचाई जाएं। आपके पुत्र के नाम पर, कलीसिया को विभाजन करने वाली संस्थावाद की दुष्टात्मा को घुड़कते हैं जो हमें नष्ट कर रही हैं। हम प्रार्थना करते हैं कि कलीसिया जाने कि केवल एक ही प्रभु, एक शरीर, एक आत्मा, एक विश्वास, एक जलसंस्कार, और सभों का एक ही परमेश्वर पिता है। (इफिसियों 4ः 3-6)

2. हे पिता मसीही संस्थाओं के बीच की दीवारें तोड़ी जाएं। कोई अपने को मेथोडिस्ट या सी.एन.आई. या पिन्तेकुस्तल, मारथोमा या लूथरन न कहे क्योंकि इन्होंने अपना खून हमारे लिये नहीं बहाया। परन्तु हर एक विश्वासी पहिली सदी के समान मात्र मसीही शिष्य कहलाए। (प्रेरितों के काम 11ः 26)

3. प्रभु जी जब अन्य जाति प्रार्थना करें कि हमें असत्य से सत्य की ओर, अंधकार से ज्योति की ओर और मृत्यु से जीवन की ओर ले चलो तो आप उनकी सुने क्योंकि केवल आप ही मार्ग, सत्य और जीवन हैं और कोई भी पिता के पास आपके बिना नहीं पहुंच सकता। (यूहन्ना 14ः 6)

4. प्रभुजी हमारे पाप-मय जीवन के कारण कोई भी अधोलोक के फाटक में प्रवेश न करें। हमें अपने उद्धार के आनन्द में बनाए रख जिससे हम अपराधियों को आपका मार्ग सिखाएंगे और पापी तेरी ओर फिरेंगे (भजनसंहिता 51ः 10-13)

5. प्रभुजी हर एक सही विश्वासी जाने कि आपने उसकी नियुक्ति शैतानी योजनाओं को नष्ट करने और व्यर्थ की परमपराओं और नियमों को कलीसियाओं से उखाड़ फेकने के लिए तथा नए नियम की सादगी वाली कलीसिया रोपने के लिए किया है। (यिर्मयाह 1ः 9-10)

6. प्रभुजी हम आपको नया दाखरस (नये विश्वासियों) हेतु नई मश्कें (गृह कलीसियाएं) बनाने के लिये धन्यवाद देते हैं। पिता आपको धन्यवाद कि अब वे लोग अजनबी और विदेशी नहीं हैं, परन्तु आपके घराने के सहभागी नागरिक और सदस्य हैं। (इफिसियों 2ः 14-19)

Second Thursday of the Month

Subject: National Churches and Leaders

“.... See I have this day set you over the nations and kingdoms, to root out and pull down, to destroy, to throw down, so as to build and to plant anew.” (Jeremiah 1: 9, 10)

God is one, but the church is divided into 33,000 denominations. Denominationalism is the root cause of division, dissension and strife. The Scriptures exhort us to, ‘keep the bond of unity’ (Ephesians 4: 3), to love God the Father, to love our neighbors and to love each other but we do not love people of other denominations. The Lord has told us that a house divided against itself can not stand. (Matthew 12: 25). The devil works overtime to keep the spirit of denominationalism alive to keep us divided.

We need a church, which is Biblically and culturally appropriate for our nation. Multitudes of our brothers and sisters of other faiths, who are now standing in the valley of decision, will not come in the existing model until it is indigenized. The foreign looking building, complete with the pews and the pulpit, the congregation in Western clothes, extensive use of English in worship, even the music is completely foreign. Pagan festivals like Christmas and Easter are all extra-biblical and far removed from the simplicity of the New Testament Church. 

Like Jeremiah we have been assigned to root out, pull down, destroy, and throw down the traditional model and plant the original New Testament model church to welcome nations and kingdoms. 

Peoples of other faiths are desperately seeking the Truth. Many of them fast and for days go to the temples and other religious places in search of truth, often keeping all night vigils (Jagrans). Millions travel long distances on pilgrimages and spend money and undergo enormous hardships but the truth eludes them. Much to the delight of the father of lies, we the ‘Truth Keepers’ are keeping it for ourselves and not sharing it with the ‘Truth Seekers’. God is now looking for those, who will enable gentiles, the new wine, to enter into new wineskins.

:: PRAYER :: 

1. O Lord You loved this country so much that You gave Your only Son who shed His blood to save all mankind including our brothers and sisters of other faiths. In the name of Your Son we rebuke the spirit of divisive denominationalism, which is destroying Your church. We earnestly pray that the Church may know that there is one Lord, one body, one spirit, one faith, one baptism, and one God the Father of all. (Ephesians 4: 3-6)

2. We pray that You will deliver the faithful from every snare of the fowler (Psalm 91: 3). That they and their families may not become stumbling blocks for others, otherwise it will be better for them to drown in the sea by putting a millstone round their necks. (Matthew 18: 6)

3. Lord grant that nobody should enter the gates of Hell because of our sinfulness. Restore us to the joy of Your salvation and sustain us with a willing spirit. Then we will teach transgressors Your ways and sinners will be converted to You. (Psalm 51: 10-13) 

4. We pray that You will break the middle wall of separation between Christians and millions of Dalits and peoples of other faiths who will find that You are the only way, the truth and the life and that no one can go to the Father without You. (John 14: 6)

5. Lord grant that every believer may know that You have appointed us to uproot, pull down, to destroy and overthrow the demonic powers, to overturn their rule and build and plant God’s kingdom. (Jeremiah 1: 9, 10)

6. Lord, we thank You for preparing new wineskins (house churches) for the new wine (new believers) and are giving them new strategies to plunder the people from the Strongman. Father thank you that these people will no longer be strangers and foreigners but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God. (Ephesians 2: 14-19)
