SUNDAY IS NOT SABBATH There is not a single verse in the Bible that instructs you to go to church on Sunday. Christians remain confused regarding the Sabbath day. The Sabbath began at sundown on Friday evening and lasted until sundown on Saturday when the first day of the week began. The Sabbath was a “sign” between God and Israel ( Exo. 31:17 ). It has nothing to do with Gentile Christians ( Acts 15:20 ). Additional Sabbath laws were invented by the Scribes, which made Sabbath, a day of burden rather than of blessing. Jews were not allowed even to light a fire to cook food or to do any of their customary work on the Sabbath ( Exo. 35:3 ). Yeshua arose from the dead on a Sunday, the first day of the week, a working day for Jews. Thank Yeshua, otherwise we would not be able to eat our favorite Sunday dishes or go out for a picnic. The Great Commission applies to women as well as they are also disciples of Yeshua and therefore commissioned to make disciples, baptizing and equipping them ( Matt. 28:19; Mark 16:15-17 ).  In the last days, Yeshua is pouring out His Spirit on all flesh. This includes women whom the Holy Spirit empowers to prophesy, to cast out demons, to cure diseases, to make disciples and to plant Ekklesias. They also have power over all the powers of the enemy ( Acts 2:17-18; Luke 9:1-2; 10:19 ). Women are a chosen generation, royal priests, and God’s personal possession. Yeshua shed His blood to make all believers, regardless of gender and ethnicity, to function as priests who offer up lost souls as a living sacrifice, as kings to reign on earth ( Rev.1:6; 5:10;1Pet.2:5,9; John15:16 ). BATH OF PURIFICATION (Mikve) Israel understood that baptism of 600,000 men and their families, in the Red Sea, included all future generations. Hence, they do not take baptism. Gentiles that convert to Judaism were “baptized into Moses” called ‘proselyte baptism’. Jews only take a Bath of Purification from time to time for ritual cleansing. John the Baptist introduced the Baptism of repentance, and now Yeshua gives baptism of Holy Spirit for empowerment and fire to withstand fiery trials ( Matt. 3:11; 1Pet. 4:12 ). Immersion does not guarantee salvation, for Moses and all Israel were baptized dry shod yet were saved whilst Pharaoh and his army were immersed and drowned ( 1 Cor. 10:1-2; Exo. 12:37 ).  Besides Bethesda and of Siloam, there were many mikve or pools of water in Jerusalem.
