वर्तमान में फसह का पर्व

वर्तमान में अधिकाँश समाचार करोना वाईरस द्वारा मृत्यु और तबाही से सम्बन्धित होते हैं। करोना याने मृत्यु का दूत, परन्तु प्रभु यीशु मसीह इसलिये आये कि, वे जीवन पायें और बहुतायत का जीवन पायें। 

फसह का पर्व इस्राएल की मिस्र देश से दासत्व से आज़ादी की कहानी है। परन्तु मसीहियों के लिये फसह का पर्व प्रभु यीशु मसीह के बलिदान से पाप से छुटकारा एवं उद्धार की कहानी है। प्रभु यीशु मसीह ने यहूदियों के फसह के पर्व में मेमने का मांस और अखामिरी रोटी और कडुआ साग पात के भोजन को प्रभुभोज में बदल दिया। 

मसीही बिश्वासी अब घर घर रोटी तोड़ने लगे और सुसमाचार और जरूरी चीजें जरूरतमंदों को बाटने लगे। फलस्वरूप अब उनके बीच कोई भूखा नही रहता था और उनको किसी वस्तु की कमी घटी नहीं होती थी। (प्रेरितों के काम 2:46,47;4:34,35;20:35) 

आज अधिकांश मसीही खाली चर्चों में डिजिटल चर्च चलाने में व्यस्त हैं, लेकिन समय आ गया है कि सही मसीही अपने पड़ोसियों याने जरूरतमंदों की सहायता करके परमेश्वर के प्रेम को वास्तविक रूप में दर्शायें जैसेः आरधनालयों को सहायता केंद्र में बदलकर उसमे भोजन, अनाज वितरण, पुराने कपड़े, दवाईयाँ, मास्क, पुराने स्कुल के यूनिफार्म और किताबे, कम्बल और चादरें, रसोई के बर्तन, जूते, मोज़े, चप्पल, पुरानी साईकिल, ऐसी कोई भी चीज जो घरों में इस्तेमाल नही की जा रही हैं पर जो दूसरों के काम में आ सकती है। यदि यह समस्या आपके यहां नही हैं तो जमा की गयी वस्तुएं वहां भेजिये जहां इनकी अवश्यक्तांए है। 

ऐसे झुण्ड जैसेः स्वास्थ कर्मी जो सलाह दे सकते है, शिक्षक जो घर में बच्चों को कैसे पढ़ाया जा सकता है और साथ में सुसमाचार प्रचारक जो परमेष्वर के प्रेम और प्रभु के बलिदान के विषय में बता सकते हैं। 

इस के लिये आपको निर्धारित अधिकारियों की अनुमती लेना जरूरी है और साथ ही में जरूरी सावधानी के उपाय जैसे मास्क पहिनना और सामाजिक दूरी बनाया रखना इत्यादि। 

ये व्यवहारिक कदम साबित करेगा कि हमारी कलीसीयायें, शिक्षा संस्थाए और चिकत्सालय मात्र धार्मिक केन्द्र नही हैं, परन्तु वास्तव में वे स्थान हैं जहाँ जरूत्मंदों को शारीरिक, मानसिक और आध्यात्मिक सहायता के द्वारा गवाही देने के केंद्र हैं जैसे कि पहली शताब्दी की कलीसिया में होता था। यही कारण था कि प्रारंभिक कलीसिया में प्रतिदिन नए विश्वासी जुड़ते थे। (प्रेरित2:46,47) 

प्रभु यीशु मसीह ने कहा, ‘‘चोर (करोना) केवल चोरी, हत्या और विनाश के लिये ही आता है। किन्तु मैं इसलिये आया हूँ कि जीवन दूँ और बहुतायत का जीवन दूँ। (यूहन्ना 10:10)

TODAY IS PASSOVER

Of late there has been a lot of messaging both secular and religious as a result of death and devastation caused by Corona virus. Corona is harbinger of death, but Jesus came that they may have life, and have it in abundance.

Passover is the story of redemption of Israel from slavery in Egypt. For Christians, it is the story of redemption from sin by the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. Jesus changed the Passover Seder celebrated by Israel by eating roasted lamb, unleavened bread and bitter herb; and turned it into the Lord’s supper for Christians. This was celebrated in the early church by breaking bread from house to house. The result of shared meal and resources was that no one was hungry or had need for anything because in the house churches, all the needs of the poor were taken care of. (Acts 2:46,47; 4:34,35; 20:35)

While many Christians are busy organizing digital churches, it is time for all Christians to demonstrate Kingdom values by opening their churches as distribution centers for take away food (cooked or uncooked) to avoid crowding, medicines, masks, old clothes, old school uniforms and books, blankets and sheets, kitchen utensils, shoes, socks, sandals, old bicycles etc. In fact anything that is lying around and not being used, that might be useful for others. If this is not a local problem, then you could send it to those who are handling Covid 19 or migrant workers.

Teams could include health workers to give advice, and teachers to advice on how to do home schooling and of course the Gospel must be preached.

For this, you must take permission from the appropriate authorities and take due precautions, including wearing masks and keeping social distancing etc.

This would prove that our churches, schools and hospitals are not just religious centers but holistic by witnessing through taking care of physical, mental and spiritual needs of the needy, through practical support. Needless to add that, this will rapidly advance the Kingdom of God on planet earth, as it did in the first century.

Jesus said, “The thief (Corona) comes only to steal, kill and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and have it in abundance.” (John 10:10)
