DRIVERS OF CHURCH GROWTH
1.
It is essential to
have the vision to make disciples of all nations and for every believer to
receive their inheritance. (Acts 26:17-18)
2.
Apostolic
teaching, heartfelt prayer, miraculous works, distributing material blessings,
breaking bread from house to house. (Acts 2:42-47)
3.
Going in pairs,
catching big fish, establishing a house church in the house of a son of peace,
mutual conversation, and a home church that makes disciples. (Luke 10:1-9; 1
Corinthians 14:26)
4.
Where there are
prayer walks, spiritual warfare, binding the strongman and plundering his
possessions (souls). (1 Timothy 2:8; Matthew 12:29)
5.
Not just one but
many leaders who are based not only on knowledge but also on obedience.
Recognize those obstacles that are against growth and remove them.
6.
Empowering every
believer (man and woman) and royal priesthood until ordinary membership comes
to an end.
7.
Continuous
research culture, new strategies that are explosive and dynamic, to be
encouraged and rewarded so that more qualitative growth can take place.
8.
Daily bring people
to repentance, baptize them, and offer them as living sacrifices. (Hebrews
3:13; Romans 12:1; 15:16; 1 Corinthians 14:24-25)
9.
The style of work
based on caste, language, and culture, in which there is a system to keep the
details of many generations of disciples. (Acts 16:3-5; 2 Timothy 2:2;
Colossians 2:9)
10.
Evaluation: based
on making disciples, planting house churches, possessing inheritance, and
social transformation. (John 15:8; Revelation 6:1; 16:5; Acts 26:18)
11.
Come out of such
an ineffective church which says “Come, sit and be idle” and become such a
church that prepares disciples, by which the body grows. (Ephesians 4:11-13)
12.
Give advice,
counsel, and evaluate disciples of every generation. Paul himself made Timothy
a disciple, who made Ephras a disciple, who made Archippus a disciple, and
Archippus made Nympha a disciple. It was this Nympha who was the pastor of the
church in Colossae. Paul sent greetings to all in his letter. (2 Timothy 2:2;
Colossians 1:6; 4:12-16)
